International Ministry

CMA church has a vision for introducing people around the world to forgiveness, healing, and purpose in Jesus Christ. We pursue this in Morgantown through a variety of ministries to internationals who often come to West Virginia University as students or professionals.

  • We teach several levels of ESL to those who wish to upgrade their English language skills.
  • Our Hope Class is a friendly evening on Fridays consisting of a dinner meal, some fun activities, and a study for internationals who would like to know more about spiritual things.
  • In addition, the pastor provides a printed text version of his sermon to help people follow the spoken message.

World ChildrenWe partner both in prayer and financial support with the national leadership of the C&MA to send workers to people around the world.

  • Every four minutes, someone prays to receive Christ through the worldwide outreach of Alliance ministries.
  • Every hour, three patients, many of them ravaged by AIDS, receive physical and spiritual care through Alliance medical work.
  • Every day via 43 radio broadcasts, people who have had no gospel witness hear the good news.
  • Every week, nearly 3,000 new believers are baptized.
  • Every month, 253 churches and church groups join the worldwide Alliance family.
  • Every year, nearly 10,000 students are trained and equipped for ministry through 125 overseas Alliance theological schools.
