This is the space on the web site where I am supposed to tell you what category our church is in.  Actually, our beginnings more than a century ago were awash in a sentiment that if we are all spiritually dead without Christ, and if God is mighty to save, then human categories are overrated.  We began as an "alliance" of believers in Christ who are convinced that the great truths of the historic Christian church as found in the Bible are the proper focus of our minds.  But that is not enough.  Beliefs are important, but unless they result in a life of devotion to Christ they are meaningless.

That's pretty much what we are now, too.  It is our aim to be swept away by the majesty of God in all of our worship services and ministries.  If God is really God then every part of our lives should show the impact of his presence.  We are convinced that everyone needs to hear that Jesus Christ has given us the privilege to have a personal relationship with him by faith.

We want to be all about him, and not so much about us.  We're not totally there yet, but you are most welcome to join the pursuit of God with us.
