Care for the City seeks to serve some of the deepest and most systemic needs in the community. Many of its projects are conducted in partnership with other organizations that specialize in providing help to unique needs.
Friends 4 Families is a family advocacy ministry that CMA Church is developing in partnership with Chestnut Mountain Village, with a focus on meeting the needs of vulnerable children and families.
The Assisted Living Ministry team visits several local assisted living centers each month. Visits are monthly on Tuesday afternoons and include a Bible message and singing of hymns.
The Food Cupboard gathers food items for monthly distribution to individuals and families in need. The distribution usually takes place on the last Monday of each month (with exceptions made for holidays).
We are in need of volunteers to help with food prep and parking at each tailgate. Setup begins about 3 hours before kickoff, and cleanup wraps up 30 minutes before game time.
